4th Annual Music Festival March 21-23, 2014, Wickham Park
Runaway Country is still 10 months away, but tickets go on sale this Wednesday.
“A lot of people plan their annual get-together early and want their tickets as soon as possible”, explains Runaway Country Executive Producer, Gary McCann. “Music Festivals are a unique experience; different than any other concert. One ticket provides access to three days of live music and performances by some of today’s hottest bands, also admission to dance and party clubs, dining, shopping, so much to see and do.”
Available again this year is the popular EZ Pay option where you can automatically split your ticket purchase into 5 monthly payments with no interest and no fees.
Several ticket options are available:
– Single Day General Admission, $79
– Three Day Weekend General Admission $119 (General Admission; BYO lawn chair)
– Three Day Weekend Reserved Stage Front Sections; $279 – $299
– Single Day Reserved Stage Front Sections; $129 (Fenced, gated, chair provided for you in reserved sections.)
On-site camping is available for the weekend with reserved sites suitable for everything from little tents to the biggest rigs; $99 – $395
March 21 to 23, 2014 marks the 4th anniversary for Runaway Country, now recognized by many artists as the kick-off event to the touring season.
McCann added, “Every year, the organizing committee comes up with an outstanding line-up, new attractions and experiences. The beauty of a festival ticket, it averages about $7 per artist. Just three years ago folks would look at us sideways; you know that kind of funny look. Lady Antebellum, Alan Jackson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen, Randy Travis, Dierks Bentley and Eric Church live in Wickham Park for seven dollars each? … Now the expression is more like, ‘This is very cool!’”
“We work hard to offer the best entertainment value anywhere in the country,” explained Runaway Country VP of Marketing, Doug Baker. “A great deal of credit goes to the business community who step up in large numbers each year to sponsor the festival. Based on renewals each year, the Festival is as good for them as it is for the fans.”
“Nowhere better to be than Florida in March, for fans and performers, alike,” added Rob Varley, Executive Director, Space Coast Office of Tourism. “Hosting visitors from all over the country, and in fact, from around the world, has been great for our area. Each year more music fans tell us they are staying a little longer and taking in everything the Space Coast has to offer.”
The line-up for 2014 will be announced in the coming weeks. Based on the previous three years, the festival’s slogan, ‘Florida in March, never sounding so good’ will hold true.
McCann concluded, “We are in for a real treat. Yes, Florida in March is the best place to be. Well, actually, anytime is a good time to be here, but March 2014 will be very special.”
Tickets available starting at 11AM, Wednesday May 15, online at RunawayCountry.com or by phone 321-549-4204 or 877-569-7767.
